Since Biblical times, the Legacy Tree has stood for growth, nourishment and all that is good in our lives. As a lasting tribute to the individuals who have personified those characteristics, we invite you to honor them by improving the lives of others. The Legacy Tree Endowment is the perfect way to create a permanent honorarium or memorial for a loved one, while contributing to the valuable programs and services at the Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence of Mount St. Mary's Hospital & Health Center. Located prominently in the Nursing Care Residence’s lobby, the Legacy Tree is a beautiful, symbolic tribute to your friends or loved ones. Gifts of all sizes are welcome, with a variety of gift levels to choose from. The Tree is composed of stones, acorns, branches, miniature trees and leaves, which may be inscribed with the donor’s name or a name designated by the donor and a personal message. A beautiful way to highlight or commemorate joyous occasions such as births, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, or to honor parents, family or friends. All contributions made to the Legacy Tree are tax deductible and are used to further the mission of Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to work hand in hand with Our Lady of Peace to help realize the programs and services that bring high quality, compassionate care to our community.
