R.N. Staff Nurse

Shifts are 12.5 hours. Administers nursing care to residents under the direction and supervision of the Unit Manager and/or Nursing Supervisor. Responsible for the delivery of resident care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains confidentiality of all Nursing Home/staff information. 

Qualifications - Graduate from college or diploma in the field of Registered Nursing.  On the job training.  Must possess Basic Life Support Certification credentials.  Current NYS Registered Nurse Licensure required.  One year medical-surgical or skilled nursing home experience preferred.  Good human relations and oral/written communication skills required.
